A Winter Wonderland

When we were children, snow days were the best! A Winter Wonderland, with snow falling from the sky and every school closed.

Recently I sold my car, and got a Vespa LX50. I figured it was the best move living in Victoria, since I rarely drive anywhere. She is super cute, and I can't wait to drive her around. However, with this Winter Wonderland it doesn't look like it will be soon!

At least she looks super cute in the snow! Soon enough, we will be driving all over the place. xoxo

Since the snow doesn't look like it's going anywhere, I decided to have a little fun and make snow angels. If you can't beat them, join them! Which is exactly what I did, and I have to say I had a lot of fun doing it.

Life is what you make of it, and even though I can't drive my sweet Vespa I can still have fun! It's all about keeping a positive perspective, and not taking what you have for granted.

Cheers!

All you need is love.

This is Baby Buddy, he is a Yorkie Cross and is 6 years old. He has changed my life for the better and makes me incredibly happy!

This is Ms. Suzi Meow, she is the sweetest kitten you will ever meet! She is full of affection and love, and will show you any chance you give her. She also makes me incredibly happy.

The reason I decided to post about my two loving animals, is because they have fully changed my life. Everyday, I do the things I need to do to take care of them, and in return they show me true unconditional love. I read this blog earlier, and it was very inspiring. It wrote about how we all need to start enjoying the things we have in life, and since these two animals make me so happy I thought what a perfect start!

I realized I need to take more moments like this, and give thanks for all that I have. So, I decided I'm going to start my day by taking a quiet moment every morning to reflect on what truly makes me happy, plan how my day will go, and to start the day in a positive direction. It's going to be interesting to see how life changes, when positivity is introduced first thing in the morning. Mostly, because I'm not a morning person at all. hahaha

Cheers!

The path I Chose

I took this photo in August of 2011, with my iPhone using the application Instagram. I have always had an interest in photography, and although some will argue that using such applications is a cop out; to me, it really doesn't matter. I gather my motivation through such methods, and it allows me to reflect back.

I titled this photo "The path I chose" and looking back on it, it is what kick started my motivation to really self-reflect.  I have been making a lot of positive changes in my life, which is what motivated myself to start blogging. As a child I wrote my thoughts down in a journal, and I remember how rewarding it was. So I wanted to take this opportunity to share my thoughts and views with others.

So here it is, this is what I have decided to take up as a hobby of mine. In time we will see where my imagination takes me, and how many more positive changes I make in my life.

Cheers!
